Hit Streaks - Thru June 9, 1929

Dale Alexander (DET)

So, it is definitely my fault that I have not been posting updates with respect to hitting streaks - particularly because there have been some impressive  streaks thus far this season.  The tab for hit streaks is separate from other batting stats in Skeetersoft - it isn't hidden by any means, but I don't check it as often as I do the usual hitting stats that I incorporate into the Week in Review posts.  So, without further adieu, here are the 20 best hitting streaks so far this season:

That is quite an impressive run from Dale Alexander at 27 straight games - as are those from other star players like Rogers Hornsby (23) and Al Simmons (22).

The longest active streak belongs to the Brooklyn Robins' Harvey Hendrick, who has hit successfully in his last 14 games.
