April 20, 1949: Boston Red Sox vs. Philadelphia Athletics

Red Sox starter Ellis Kinder went on the road and completely shut down the Athletics.  Kinder pitched a complete game shutout, striking out five along the way.  His best effort was needed, as the Red Sox only put one run on the board, but it was enough for the win.
