April 21, 1949: Cleveland Indians vs. St. Louis Browns

Centerfielder Paul Lehner hit his first home run of the season in the 2nd inning, but it was a three-run 4th inning that gave the Browns a lead they would never surrender and their first win on the season (now 1-2).  The Indians got a home run from Hank Edwards in the top of the 9th, but it was too late and the Indians fell to 2-1.
