April 21, 1949: New York Giants vs. Brooklyn Dodgers

Gil Hodges hit his first home run of the season in a five-run 6th inning for the Dodgers, which allowed them to take back a lead they would not surrender again.  Jackie Robinson also went 3-3 with a walk and a run.

The Dodgers move to 2-1, while the Giants fall to 1-2.
