April 21, 1949: Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Chicago Cubs

Cubs starter Monk Dubiel threw a complete game shutout to help get the Cubs their first win of the season.  Solo home runs from Bob Scheffing and Andy Pafko provided the only runs from either team on the day.  The Cubs move to 1-2, while the Pirates lose for the first time this season and fall to 2-1.
