April 22, 1949: Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees

Yankees starter Allie Reynolds went the distance today, allowing only one run as the Yankees destroyed the rival Red Sox.  Billy Johnson and Dick Kryhoski both homered and provided more than enough run support for the win.  The Yankees move to 2-2 on the year while this was the Red Sox's first loss to move to 3-1.
