Yes, I'm schizophrenic... 1949 Replay Baseball

 OK, I acknowledge that I'm schizophrenic and/or nuts - clearly I've started a few replays already on this, gotten a decent ways into them and then changed course.  However, I've recently fallen in love with Replay Baseball.  I ordered the 1949 cards set and decided to get the PC version to along with it, using the software to track stats and enter results.  It's amazing.  Such a playable game, made even smoother by incorporating the PC version that is tailored to this particular cards & dice sim.  Based on what I'm able to do within that software, it will make things much easier for me (read: less of a chore at times) to post results and weekly roundups.

So, the 1949 replay is underway and I'll be posting results for EVERY game.  And I'll do weekly recap/roundup type posts to update standings, league leaders, etc.

April 17, 1940 (Payoff Pitch Replay)

April 16, 1940 (Payoff Pitch Replay)

And we are off and running with the 1940 season, using Payoff Pitch for a complete replay of the season where my beloved Cincinnati Reds won their first World Series since the infamous 1919 Series!  I'm still thinking/working through how to present results, but I'm thinking I will make daily (in game terms) posts with these pictures of all the box scores - I love this screen in Digital Diamond Baseball to display all the day's action. I will then choose a "Game of the Day" to recap and rundown the day's best performers.  I'll also likely be doing "weekly" (again, in game terms) type posts to update standings, league leaders, etc.  Digital Diamond is a big help in that regard as well, as it has a very cool feature with league leaders, MVP candidates, etc - I can't recommend the software highly enough as a board game companion tool!  And with that...take a look at the full scoreboard above for all of today's score and then scroll down to se
