Young Phillies starter Robin Roberts, striking out six and giving up only one run to a Carl Furillo solo homer, was stellar today in Phildelphia.  With win, the Phillies move to 3-2, while the Dodgers fall back to .500 at 2-2.

  Three games today, two of them really-well played, while the White Sox-Senators was a bit of a runaway.  Today finally saw the Cardinals get their first win of the season, in a game where neither starter went particularly deep.  The Cubs lost their first game of the year but will certainly take a 4-1 start.  The Game of the Day, though, featured a matchup of two star starting pitchers.
