April 23, 1949: Philadelphia Athletics vs. Washington Senators

A's starter Dick Fowler delivered his second stellar pitching performance of the young season, going the distance and allowing only a single run.  The A's cruised to a 6-1 win, moving to 3-3 on the year.  With the loss, the Senators fall to 2-4.
