April 22, 1949: Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

 A second extra innings game today saw the Reds getting the road win in 11 innings.  Hank Sauer was the star of the show, going 4-5 with a solo home run and driving in three runs on the day.  The Reds move to 2-2, while the Pirates lose a second straight to fall to 2-2.
