June 6, 1941 (Replay Baseball)

  June 6, 1941 -           The last place Philadelphia Athletics managed to top the AL-leader Cleveland Indians toady in Philly by a score of 11-7.   The A’s got to star Bob Feller early, chasing him after only 1 and 2/3 innings pitched and after allowing 7 runs.   Athletics second baseman Benny McCoy had a spectacular day, going 4-4 and driving in three runs.
