Wally Schang (SLB)

St. Louis Browns catcher Wally Schang came into today without a home run on the season, but he couldn't have picked a better time to blast two over the wall in Detroit.  Schang hit two home runs, one coming in a 6-run top of the 9th inning that powered the Browns to a come-from-behind 9-7 victory.  Schang finished the day 3-4, with a walk, adding 4 RBI to his pair of home runs.

The Browns remain white hot, moving to 21-16 and staying within striking distance of the first place A's.
