Travis Jackson (NYG)

For a second straight day, Travis Jackson put together a Stellar Performance - but whereas yesterday's multi-homer day was in a losing effort, Jackson hit two home runs again today to lead the Giants to an 8-6 victory over the second-place Cardinals.  Jackson finished the day 2-4 with 2 home runs and 3 RBI.  Without digging too deep to verify, I believe Jackson to be the first player this season to have multi-homer games on back-to-back days.  Jackson has been among the Top 10 Hitters most of the season and it's almost certain that he'll be rising even further up that list in the next Week in Review.

With the win, the Giants now lead the National League by 4 games over the St. Louis Cardinals.
