-          White Sox starter Thornton Lee pitches a complete game shutout, as the Sox beat the Indians 1-0.

-          Red Sox leftfielder Lou Finny went a perfect 5-5 in the Red Sox 7-4 win over the Yankees, to bring his early season batting average to a blistering .488.

-          Dodgers first baseman Dolph Camilli blasted two home runs and drove in five runs in the Dodger’s 7-2 win over the Phillies.  Camilli’s batting average remains subpar at just .167, but he now has three home runs and 12 RBI on the year.

-          Pittsburgh Pirates’ starter Bob Klinger threw a complete games shutout of the last-place Cubs, giving up only four hits and one walk while striking out seven.
