- Yankees’ left fielder Charlie Keller hit two home runs today in the Yanks’ 6-0 drubbing of the White Sox. Keller drove in five of the team’s six runs as they Yankees improved to a major league best 13-5.

home run of the season in dramatic fashion – a walk-off solo shot, that capped
a three-run bottom of the 9th to secure Cleveland’s eight straight
win. They beat the Red Sox 7-6 in a
classic.

of the 9th but managed a walk-off, pinch-hit single by Hal Marnie
